FPT Industrial’s certified engines, known for their power, reliability, robustness, and innovation, are designed to meet these needs. Our range of engines for on-road applications, which includes three engine families, the F1, NEF, and CURSOR, offers displacements from 2.3 to 12.9 liters, with rated power outputs from 85 to 442 kW (116 to 600 hp), and maximum torque values from 340 to 2,850 Nm. These engines provide cost-effective solutions to tackle daily challenges.

All FPT Industrial engine families include natural gas variants, offering clean, innovative engines with reduced CO2 emissions. These engines are designed to ensure low noise, long life, and daily savings thanks to reduced cost per mile, all while being environmentally friendly and complying with current emission standards. Our range of natural gas engines, which includes three engine families, the F1, NEF, and CURSOR, offers displacements from 3 to 12.9 liters, with rated power outputs from 100 to 382 kW (136 to 520 hp) and maximum torque values from 350 to 2,500 Nm. Since 1997, we have sold more than 100,000 natural gas engines with a European market share of over 60%.

Reliable engines with low fuel consumption:

Our engines deliver robust, reliable power for all passenger transport vehicles. Available in both diesel and natural gas configurations, the F1C engine for minibuses delivers best-in-class performance up to 152 kW (207 hp) and 470 Nm of torque. Engineered for durability, it has a lifespan of up to 400,000 km, with oil change intervals of up to 50,000 km. The engine layout with double chain timing provides enhanced reliability (no maintenance required) and provides benefits compared to gear timing, such as lower cost and noise. Adaptable for both transverse and longitudinal installations, this versatile engine is equipped with a dual-SCR technology ATS system optimized for urban duties with reduced load and low exhaust temperatures, as well as for suburban use. The F1C engine meets global emission standards, including the EuVI, GBVI, JP24, and PROCONVE P8 standards.

The NEF and CURSOR engines, ranging from 4.5 to 12.9 liters and delivering power from 118 to 442 kW (160 to 600 hp), are our solutions for urban, city, intercity and tourist buses, available in both diesel and natural gas versions. The diesel versions feature an EGR-free design with passive DPF regeneration DPF delivering the lowest Total Cost of Ownership, high fuel efficiency and excellent reliability. Moreover, the exclusive, patented HI-eSCR after-treatment system for diesel versions combines sustainability, performance and maximum fuel efficiency.
