The 4000 Series™ is ideal for heavy-duty vehicles that require substantial power and torque. It can accommodate engines with power ratings ranging from 380 to 800 horsepower (283-597 kW) and torque capacities up to 2,360 lb-ft (3,200 N·m).
Gear Ratios Optimized for Performance:
4000 Series™ transmissions offer six or seven forward gears, depending on the model. Gear ratios are optimized to provide an ideal balance between vehicle performance and fuel efficiency.

The exceptional transport of a wind turbine blade from Brindisi Harbour (in the South of Italy) to the RWM "Mondonuovo" wind farm in Mesagne (Brindisi) was the first in a series of transports for 27 components for the 9 turbines at the park. Thanks to the collaboration between Geotrasporti, Astra and Allison Transmission, the operation was a success, with the use of the Allison Automatics in combination with two Astra HD9 enables vehicle controlpower and precision during maneuvers.
